How much does it cost to develop custom firmware or a custom PCB?

It depends on complexity: BLE firmware on an nRF52 with a companion app involves a very different effort from a multi-layer RF PCB with EMC validation. That's why the initial discovery phase is free: we analyse the requirements, estimate timelines and costs by milestone, and only then propose a defined quote. We never start with an open-ended budget.

Do you work with startups too, or only with structured companies?

Both. We support established SMEs in developing new products and startups that need to move from an idea to a demonstrable prototype or a first production run. For startups, the "single point of contact for hardware, firmware, apps and patents" approach reduces coordination costs and time-to-market.

Which microcontrollers and technologies do you develop on?

We work mainly on Nordic nRF52/nRF54, Espressif ESP32 and STMicroelectronics STM32, with Zephyr RTOS and nRF Connect SDK. On the connectivity side: BLE (advertising and connected), BLE Mesh, NMEA2000, CAN. For apps: native Android, Flutter, FastAPI backends. For robotics: KUKA KRC5/KRL and CAM postprocessors.

Can you follow the project from idea all the way to production?

Yes. We cover the entire lifecycle: architecture, PCB schematic and layout, firmware, companion app, in-house hardware validation, technical documentation, BOM and pilot production support. For mechanical and fluid-dynamics design we rely on qualified partners, while remaining the client's single point of reference.

How do you protect the confidentiality of the project?

Every project begins with the signing of a confidentiality agreement (NDA), even before discovery. We never share technologies, circuits or source code between different clients, and the intellectual property of the results remains with the client. Where patentable features emerge, we help protect them.
