SailSensor is Moxá Design's line of proprietary products dedicated to sailing: inertial and pressure sensors, a companion app, an ultrasonic anemometer and an NMEA2000 bridge. All devices communicate via BLE advertising in ultra-low-power mode, with years of autonomy on a coin cell battery. Two UIBM patents already filed on the ecosystem.

Measures the boom angle in real time through two inertial sensors and differential quaternion fusion. BLE advertising, ultra-low power consumption, IP67 marine housing. The differential fusion automatically cancels the drift of the individual IMUs, ensuring stable accuracy even after hours of use.
Differential pressure sensor for measuring sail efficiency. It integrates with SailTrim Helper to provide real-time data on the optimal trim. Marine housing, BLE advertising.
Companion app that receives data from the pressure sensor and from BoomAngle. It calculates sail efficiency, upwind/downwind modes, and guides the sailor toward the optimal trim in real time.
Ultrasonic anemometer with a reflector design. Zero moving parts, it measures wind speed and direction reliably. Ideal for permanent onboard installations.
Collects data from BoomAngle and SailTrim Helper via BLE and injects it onto the boat's NMEA2000 backbone. The data becomes available on chartplotters, onboard displays and compatible navigation apps.
