Developing an embedded product involves technical, financial and scheduling risks. Our 4-phase process is designed to reduce these risks to a minimum: first you understand, then you design, then you develop, and finally you deliver with full documentation and IP. Every phase has measurable milestones and shared review points.
In-depth requirement analysis, scope definition, NDA signing. We assess technical feasibility, risks and timelines before any significant financial commitment. This initial phase is free of charge and aims to verify whether Moxá Design is the right partner for your project.
Hardware and firmware architecture, component selection, schematics, code structure. Shared review with the client before proceeding to PCB layout and implementation. It is in this phase that patentable features are identified.
Iterative development with defined milestones. Bench testing, preliminary EMC validation, hardware/firmware debugging. Continuous technical documentation, not after the fact. Regular updates to the client with working demonstrations.
Transfer of source code, BOM, schematics, datasheets, manuals and process documentation. Support for pilot production and, on request, analysis and filing of intellectual property together with the patent consultant.
Every phase is quoted separately, so the client can stop between one phase and the next with no penalty. No surprises on the invoice, no over-estimates. If a task takes longer than expected, we tell you right away.
Let's discuss your projectThe client's intellectual property is protected from the very first contact. No disclosure, no internal reuse between clients.
Before any financial commitment we verify that the project is technically feasible and that we are the right partner.
Every phase is quoted separately. The client can stop the project at the end of each phase with no penalty.
At the end of the project the client receives firmware source code, PCB files, BOM and complete documentation. No lock-in.
